A. crinita Buser in Scrinia Fl. Select. (Magnier) 11:256 (1892). Figure 1, p. 87. Robust, with flowering stems up to 40 cm, with ± dense patent or slightly deflexed hairs throughout except pedicels and hypanthia. Leaves up to 10 cm wide, reniform with wide sinus and (7-)9 wide, shallow lobes; leaf teeth c. 7, rather wide and irregular. Pedicels glabrous; hypanthia variably hairy or glabrous. Fl. 6. Picea forest, stream sides, 2100-2250 m. Type: C. Europe, Buser 2732. N.E. & E. Anatolia, rare. A9 Çoruh: Kordevan Da., nr. Kutul Y., 2100 m, D. 30189! B9 Van: N. side of Erek Da., above Değirmenköy, 2100-2250 m, D. 44459! C. Europe, Italy, Balkans. Turkish and Carpathian material has a hairy hypanthium, a character rarely seen in Alpine material. The significance of this difference is not known. |
