A. ochrochlorus Boiss. & Hoh. in Boiss., Diagn. ser. 1(9):83 (1849). Dwarf shrub c. 25 cm. Leaves 4-6 cm; rachis spiny; leaflets 9-12 mm, elliptic, spine-tipped, glabrous, 4-6-paired; stipules c. 12 mm, triangular-lanceolate, glabrous, united to halfway. Inflorescence 5-10-fiowered. Bracts c. 9 mm, ovate-lanceolate, navicular, sparsely hairy. Bracteoles c. 2 mm, lanceolate. Calyx c. 12 mm, tubular, densely long white simple-pilose with a few shorter black, simple hairs; teeth c. 5 mm, subequal. Corolla lilac-pink or purple; standard 14-18 mm. Legume unknown. Fl. 8. Rocky slopes, c. 3050 m. Type: [N. Iran] ad radices montis Demavend prope Lar, Kotschy 336. S.E. Anatolia. C10 Hakkari: Cilo Tepe, 3050 m, D. 24108! N. Iran. The Turkish plant agrees well with a specimen from N. Iran (Born-miiller 1902:6892) determined by Bornmüller as A. ochrochlorus. Close to A. Ieiophyllus. |
