The species is centred in the Irano- Turanian region. Sect. Euodmus Bunge. Caulescent, herbaceous, perennial herbs. Leaves impari-pinnate; leaflets bifurcate-hairy; stipules free or united below, free from the petiole. Inflorescence a pedunculate, many-flowered spike. Flowers ebracteolate. Calyx white or black and white simple-hairy, not inflated. Legume exserted from the calyx, oblong to falcate-trigonous, bilocular, many-seeded. 1. Standard 17-22 mm: legume 25-40 mm 263. falcatus 1.
