A. declinatus Willd., Sp. PL 3:1294 (1802). Scapose to shortly caulescent perennial with a simple or branched, woody caudex; stems c. 5 cm. Leaves 5-15 cm; leaflets 5-16 mm, narrowly elliptic, obtuse or acute, shortly simple-villous below, glabrous above, 15-28-paired; stipules 6-8 mm, narrowly triangular-lanceolate. Peduncles 1-3 cm. Flowers pedicellate, in 5-10-flowered racemes. Bracts 6-8 mm, linear-lanceolate. Calyx 11-13 mm, tubular, sparsely white, simple-villous; teeth 3-4 mm, linear. Corolla yellow; standard 15-20 mm. Style evenly hairy below the stigma. Legume 15-20 mm, ellipsoid, sparsely villous, sessile; beak 2-4 mm. Fl. 6-8. Mountain steppe, stony slopes, etc., 1600-2900 m. Type: 'Armenia", Tournefort.
