Leaves 3-6 cm; rachis spiny; leaflets 7-10 mm, elliptic, spine-tipped, glabrous above, sparsely adpressed simple-hairy below, 5-6-paired; stipules 7-12 mm, triangular-ovate to lanceolate, white-pubescent, becoming glabrous, united to more than halfway. Inflorescence ± globose, with 10-20 sessile flowers. Bracts 7-8 mm, ovate-oblong, white-hairy on lower surface. Bracteoles absent. Calyx 11-14 mm, tubular, black and white simple-pilose; teeth 6-7 mm, linear-subulate, mainly black-hairy. Corolla red; standard 15-17 mm. Legume c. 8x4 mm, ovoid, densely black and white spreading-hairy. Fl. 6. Alt. 1800 m. Type: [Turkey B9 Siirt] Delan dere, 10 km SW von Mukus, 1800 m, 22 juni 1939, Frödin 11:294 (UPS!). Endemic; Ir.-Tur. element. Only known from the type gathering. Related to A. gillii Širj. from Iran. |
