Like A. serpyllifolia but less robust; inflorescence usually dichasial; sepals 2.5-3 mm, lanceolate; capsule conical, ± straight-sided, gradually tapering to the top, more than 2 x longer than broad, with a thin, flexible wall; seeds 0.4-0.55 x 0.35-0.5 mm.
