A. parviflora Boiss., Diagn. ser. 1(6): 14 (1846-47). Syn; A. kotschyi Boiss., Diagn. ser. 1(8): 32(1849). Perennial herb, the whole plant somewhat canescent with an indumentum of stellate hairs. Leaves cuneate-spathulate, with 2-6 teeth. Petals up to 8 mm, white to pale lilac or pale pink. Fruits ellipsoidal, 4-7 x 3-4 mm, with a dense hetero-morphic indumentum of long stellate-furcate, and shorter stellate hairs. Fl. 6. Rocks. Syntypes: [Iran] circa Shiraz, Aucher 4169; ad rupes abscissas montis Kuh Barfi prope eandem urbem, Kotschy 342. C8 Mardin: 5 km E of Mardin, 1200 m, D. 28579! N.W. & C. Iran, N. Iraq.
