A. graellsiiformis Hedge in Notes R.B.G. Edinb. 23: 22 (1957). Differs from A. brachycarpa in its crenate leaves, petals 8-10 mm, and siliquae 30-65 mm, deeply constricted between the seeds. Fl. 8. Ledges, cliffs and rocks, usually shaded, 2800-4000 m. Type: Turkey B9 prov. Bitlis/Van, mt. 10 km SE of Pelli, 8 vii 1954, Davis & Polunin, D. 22574 (holo. E!). Kurdistan. C9 Hakkari: Cilo Da., W of Cilo Tepe, 4000 m, D. 24178! Endemic; Ir.-Tur. element. Morphologically closest to A. brachycarpa and A. nordmanniana Rupr. from the W. Caucasus. |
