A. carduchorum Boiss., Fl. Or. 1: 173 (1867). Figure 14, p. 261. Perennial herb with a woody stock. Stems stellate-tomentose, leafy, 3-8 cm. Rosette leaves linear, 8-15 mm, pectinate-ciliate; stem leaves exauriculate, lanceolate, pectinate-ciliate. Petals white, 5-8 mm. Siliquae compressed, 10-15 x 1.5-2 mm, the valves with conspicuous median veins. Fl. 7. Slopes and ledges, 2800-3000 m. Type: [Turkey B9 Van] in summo jugo Agerowdagh Armeniae kurdicae inter Van et Müküsch, 4000 m, Kotschy. Kurdistan. B9 Bitlis: Pelli Da., 3000 m, D. 22495! Van: Artos Da., 3000 m, McNeill 161! Endemic; Ir.-Tur. element. Very similar in facies to Draba bruniifolia sensu lato. |
