Annual, up to 20 cm, erect, with ascending branches. Leaves obovate or spathulate. Racemes widely spreading, up to 10 cm, branches divaricate. Pedicels stout and almost horizontal, with adpressed indumentum. Sepals persistent. Petals constricted below the limb, bilobed, (2.5-)3-5 x 1-2 mm. Fruits with mono-morphic indumentum of ± long, few-rayed, stellate hairs; valves equally inflated. Styles at least 2 x wider at base than apex, 1-2 mm, with sparse indumentum. Seeds narrowly winged.
