A. condensatum Boiss. & Hausskn., in Boiss., Fl. Or. 1: 268 (1867) excl. syn. Perennial with fertile stems up to 20 cm. Leaves flat, obovate-spathulate or
oblanceolate, ± acute. Petals 2.5-3.5 x l-l.5(-2) mm, rounded, glabrous or with sparse indumentum on limbs. Fruits oblong, narrowly elliptic or broadly elliptic, (3-)3.5-6 x 2-3 mm, cross-section slightly S-shaped or narrowly transversely elliptic, with an indumentum of ashy-canescent stellate hairs (0.2-0.6 mm diam.) with many (16-30) delicate rays; valves unequally or occasionally equally inflated. Styles l-l.5(-2) mm. 1. Sepals±persistent; fruit indumentum dense, canescent, persistent; styles with indumentum subsp. condensatum 1. Sepals deciduous; fruit greenish, indumentum sparse, deciduous; styles ± glabrous subsp. flexibile subsp. condensatum. Syn: Odontarrhena lycia Jord. & Fourr., Brev. PL Nov. fasc. 2: 3 (1868)!
