Tunics papery, pale cinnamon brown, sometimes with a neck to 4 cm, moderately to densely silky felted inside. Leavs 2, spreading or recurved, glabrous or ciliate, linear to oblong, 5-l0(-15) x 0,5-2 cm. Flowers 1-4, white with a yellow centre; outer perianth segments 17-30x 4-5 nun,lanceolate to narrowly elliptic, violet-greenish to grey-greea outside; inner 20-32 x 8-13 mm, ovate to broadly ovate, concave. Filaments yellow, 6-9 mm; anthers yellow, 2-4.5 mm, apiculate, tip often black, Ovary fusiform. Capsule 1.5-2 cm, subglobose to ellipsoid, shortly apiculate. 2n = 24. FL 4-6. Mainly screes, 1980-3000 m.
