Bulb cylindrical-oblong, 11-12 x 1.5 cm: outer tunics dark reddish brown. Stem 50-55 cm. smooth, slightly ribbed. Leaves 3-4(-5). shorter than stem. 2-5 mm wide, linear, flat, erect, smooth. Spathe deciduous. 1-valved. equal or shorter than umbel, short acuminate, pinkish, with darker veins. Umbel hemispherical or spherical, with many flowers; pedicels almost equal. 5-10 mm. ebracteolate. Perianth campanulate: segments pinkish, with darker midvein. 4—5 mm; outer segments oblong-lanceolate, carinate. subacute; inner segments oblong-elliptic, denticulate at apex. Filaments 1.5-2 as long as perianth segments, subulate, ± equal: anthers lilac or violet. Ovary 2-3 mm long, oblong-ovoid, sessile: style 5-6 mm. Capsule shorter than perianth. F1. 7.
